French Doors – Entry Doors – Front Doors:

We have impact and non impact French doors, Entry doors, Front doors, sidelites and transoms. Standard or custom doors in a variety of colors, glass styles and frames types to fit your need. Naples and South Florida.

French doors have always been recognized as a single or a pair of doors that either swing in or swing out. The style of these doors have a colonial type grid consisting of multiple panes of glass known as lites. Years ago the doors were made of wood, but nowadays they manufacture them using materials such as, aluminum, vinyl, fiberglass and of course wood.

The grid part that separates each pane of glass is called muntins. These muntins can be true or false. What they mean by that is true muntins are ones that hold each piece of glass separately and with false muntins, they are applied directly over one pane of glass giving it the look of several individual panes of glass.

Aluminum French Doors

Aluminum French doors and their frames have an edge over the traditional wooden doors. They do not require painting, they don’t swell when they get wet or when the air is humid, they won’t warp and they don’t rot. They are stronger which allows them to be glazed with impact glass for hurricane resistance.

Vinyl French Doors

Vinyl French doors consist of a vinyl door leaf and frame which like the aluminum French door won’t rot, warp or swell. They can come in a wide variety of colors and wood grains. They also have a low maintenance level and they have an option of different types of glass like, energy efficient, impact, textured, and tinted and with a working blind incorporated right inside the glass pane.

Fiberglass French Doors

These fiberglass doors come with a fiberglass door leaf and the framework usually consists of a composite which will resist rotting. These doors can be painted or a wood grain stain can be used.

All of these doors may be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. They can be used just about anywhere you can put a door like in any exterior entry way or for interior uses they can be used as a room divider like between a living room and a den or in a vestibule. Since they come with full glass, they won’t block any light from entering other rooms.
